J\'ai aussi appris cet accident hier. C\'est vraiment dommage. La deuxième mort pour 2003. Début mai y a une fille de 11ans(!) qui s\'est étouffée avec un chewing gum dans Ragging Bull, à ce que j\'ai compris.
An 11 year old girl died after riding \'Raging Bull\' at Six Flags Great America.  She began to struggle once the ride was in motion but no-one could help her - she was choking to death on a piece of gum.  She died on the ride and was pronounced dead when the train arrived back in the station.  Her parents, both enthusiasts are not angry at the park, and believe it was an unfortunate accident.  The ride re-opened after a short minute delay.

Plus les douze qui sont mort dans l\'écroulement d\'une grande roue en Inde, plus un mitarbeiter à Wonderland Mall, plus 7 mort en Inde encore ou des télésièges se sont éffondrés, 2 morts en Azerbaïdjan avec un accident de swing boat, une morte en Arabie Saoudite ...

Details are sketchy but it seems that a female enthusiast was killed at Holiday World whilst riding \'The Raven\' with a very loose lapbar.  Enthusiasts praise small parks like Holiday World and Oakwood for allowing enthusiasts to ride in \'One Click\' mode, where the lap bar is not really in use, allowing for extreme airtime.  The girl was not in her seat when the train returned to the station.  A similar accident occurred on Stampida at Universal Port Aventura, when a rider used \'One Click\' and managed to gain an extreme amount of airtime, smashing his head against the support structure above.  Although it hasn\'t been confirmed that this accident is of a similar nature, early reports seem to indicate so.

Enthusiasts have lost one of their own, is it time to think again about the quest for airtime?  The next time you get stapled into your seat, be thankful.  Below is a photo of Holiday World\'s much loved \'One Click\' rides on their wooden coasters, basically the lap bar is not in use and unable to fulfill its purpose.
