Un parc pas très grand en Caroline du nord, accessible par télésièges et fermé, laissé à l'abandon depuis 2002, devrait rouvrir ses portes en 2007. Il se nomme "Ghost town in the sky. Pour l'instant il porte bien son nom.
Le parc comprend Un kiddie et un coaster signé Hopkins (avec un loop).
Depuis 2002, le parc était à vendre et il semble qu'il aie trouvé repreneur.

Beaucoup de travaux sont à prévoir pour remettre tout en l'état en particulier les manèges qui n'ont pas fonctionnés depuis 4 ans. 4 millions de dollards devraient être nécéssaires pour la rénnovation.

Je trouve que rouvrir un parc abandonné est une très bonne idée. Celà permet de refideliser les anciens habitués du parc (bien que ce parc soit un peu pommé) et ca redonne vie à celui-ci.
Voilà pour la petite histoire. Et pour dire que si j'habitais à côté, je serai le premier bénévole à me présenter pour remettre le parc en état.
J'adore l'effet viellot des parcs et les Loops Hopkins sont d'un bizzare que j'apprecie beaucoup visuellement.

Le parc va réouvrir le 25 mai 2007 avec quelques nouveautés et des attractions réstaurées comme Red Devil, le super grand-huit avec un loop de chez Hopkins.

Update du topic pour vous prévenir que Ghost Town est officiellement rouvert depuis fin mai.

Cliffhanger n'est toujours pas ouvert, en attente de nouveaux trains (oui au bout de 5 ans d'inactivité ça doit plus très bien rouler) et devrait être opérationnel à partir de demain.
a noter également que pas mal de choses étaient encore fermées.

C'est marrant ce parc sur la colline, mais ils pourraient installer un alpine coaster pour en redescendre

Non, tu confond avec Wild West World qui était tout nouveau.
Ici, c'est un parc ouvert dans les années 60 qui a fermé ses portes en 2002. Il a été repris et réouvert l'année dernière.
