If you've been watching our webcams, you've noticed that workers are now placing the steel portions of Shoot the Rapids. The steel on the ride consists of the two lifts, two drops and portions of the station. Workers are placing steel on the island first, then they'll move back over to the mainland to finish up. Also, workers are digging and pouring the base for the concrete flume portion of the ride, which is basically the curvy bits between the lift hills and drops.
